WORKSHOP - gold engagement ring
A jewellery workshop in the Lhotska Jewellery Studio. In an intimate atmosphere, with our help, you will create wedding rings in which you can imprint a piece of yourself for your beloved one.
You will be guided through the course either by the designer herself, Eliška Lhotská, or by her right-hand women, the goldsmith Gita Pavelková or Markéta Marešová. You will learn about the technology of cast jewellery, which is most often used in the production process. In the first of the two dates you will try working with jewellery wax. You will use it to make models, which we will then cast into silver prototypes. In the second session, with our assistance, you will select and work on a silver jewellery that will become the final model for a gold engagement ring. We will then professionally finish it for you and at the end we will arrange for a possible examination of the finished rings or, for example, an engraving.

If you would like to give the workshop as a gift, we can provide a printed or electronic gift voucher, or you can just print it out at home. The voucher is valid the moment it is paid for.
The workshop is preceded by an initial non-binding consultation. You will present us your expectations and together we will look for the best way to achieve a result that you and we, as professional guides of the whole experience, will be satisfied with. The consultation is also intended to allay any fears you may have about not having experience with anything like this.
The workshop itself consists of two three-hour sessions. In the first, you will try your hand at working with jewellery wax. You will each make several models from it, which we will then cast into silver prototypes. In the second session, with our assistance, you will select and work on a silver casting that will become the final model, which we will further cast in gold and then finish for you into an all-gold ring.
The workshop is for 1 person only and the price includes 3,5 grams of 14k gold. Payment for the workshop is made in advance via GoPay or bank transfer. Cancellation is possible 14 days before to the workshop. If you would like to give the workshop and a gift, we can provide a gift voucher which we will send by email, or you can pick it up personally in the studio in Prague 7, Přístavní 15. As soon as the voucher is ready, we will let you know by email.
